Fed up with cancer and fueled by their love of hockey, a group of Buffalonians came together to take action. Back in 2017, they set a goal to break the record for the world’s longest hockey game while raising money for cancer research. They succeeded and later the 11 Day Power Play was born.
The annual tradition has continued ever since, raising over $5 million along the way. Fast forward to 2021, and their fundraising goal is set at nearly $2 million.
